An eatery in Shelby Twp will be serving up vintage pricing Labor Day weekend in honor of our father for celebrating 73 years in the produce industry creator of Tom Maceri & Son located in Detroit’s eastern market since 1936. Maceri’s Soup & Scoop, Pitas, Subs & Catering will serve up $.50 Soft serve ice cream all weekend-9/5 to 9/7/09. In addition, each day will have $1 specials. Saturday we will be serving old fashioned floats for $1 in all flavors including root beer floats, red pop floats, white cow’s, grape pop floats, rock n rye, vernors, and orange pop floats. Sunday will be $1 Sundaes-Hot Fudge, Strawberry, Caramel, Raspberry, and Chocolate. Monday, Labor Day, will be $1 8″ Saver Pita Day celebrating 25 years of soup and sub making.
