We started creating our soups at Tom Maceri’s Fruit Market which we owned and operated on Detroit’s eastside. That is also where our subs were born. We added our deli department in 1984 in which we cater subs by the foot, fruit trays and salads, our specialty salads, and vegetable trays. Anthony has also done numerous wedding fruit tables with his expertise in carving and cutting produce. Anthony started in the wholesale produce industry from birth. His father, Sam Maceri, also known in Detroit, Mi as “King of Freshness” taught him the ropes. Having over 45yrs experience in the wholesale and retail produce and foodservice industry, we developed our soup company using the finest produce direct from growers local, across the country, and around the world. It can’t get any fresher.
